Today, Correos is wholly owned by the state through the State Society for Industrial Participation (SEPI) and has over 53,000 employees. The company handles approximately 5.4 billion mail items annually. It operates more than 10,000 postal centers throughout Spain and in Andorra through a bilateral agreement with the French company La Poste.
